- Step 1: Check if iOS is running the most recent Operating System version.
- Step 2: To update the iOS software, backup your data using iCloud.
- Step 3: Ensure that you have connected the iOS device to the internet.
- Step 4: Open the Settings application on the iOS device and select the General option followed by the Software Update option.
- Step 5: Tap the Download and Install option.
- Step 6: If the iOS device has not enough space for the software update, you will see a message prompts to remove applications.
- Step 7: Now, you have to choose either the Continue or Cancel option.
- Step 8: Once you tap the Install option, the software of the iOS device will be updated automatically.
- Step 9: If prompted, you have to type your passcode.
