- Step 1:On your computer, launch the eM Client app by double-clicking its shortcut icon on the desktop.
- Step 2:Click on the Menu tab at the top-left corner and select Tools Accounts.
- Step 3:You can now see the New Account window in which you can configure your account details and automatically set up the email account.
- Step 4:Under the Automatic Setup section, enter your Gmail email address in the Email field and click the Start Now button.
- Step 5:Under Account details, input a name for your email account and enter your email address in the Account name field.
- Step 6:Click Next Finish.
- Step 7:When you are directed to the Gmail Sign-in page, choose your account and click the Allow button to grant permission for eM Client to access your Google account.
- Step 8:After adding your Gmail email account in the eM Client app, open the Tools menu and select Accounts.
- Step 9:Choose your Google account (Gmail) from the left-side panel and go to the General tab.
- Step 10:Under the Services section, ensure that the Google Contacts checkbox is selected. If not, select the option to sync your Google Contacts with eM Client.
- Step 11:Alternatively, you can sync Google Contacts from the New Account window.
- Step 12:Head to the Contacts section in the New Account window and select the Google Contacts option to sync your contacts with the eM Client app.
