Step 1 - Enabling the Undo feature

  • Step 1:Go to your computer, launch the default web browser and access your Gmail account using your email address and password.
  • Step 2:Once you click the Setup or gear icon at the upper-right corner, choose the Settings option and proceed with how to unsend an email steps.

  • Step 4:Now, you will see the ‘Sent’ message on the lower-left corner.

  • Step 2:Select the Undo Send option on the left panel and click the radio button next to the ‘Let me cancel messages I’ve sent for’ option.
  • Step 3:Click the limit time box and then choose any one of the options that are listed below.
    • 5 seconds
    • 10 seconds
    • 15 seconds
    • 30 seconds
  • Step 5:By default, the 10 seconds option will be chosen if you have not selected any one of the options.
  • Step 6:Save this setting by clicking the Save button. Click the New button to compose a new email.
  • Step 7:Once done with composing the email, click the Send button that is present at the lower-left corner of the screen.
  • Step 8:The Undo button will be displayed at the top-right corner. Within the limit you have set, click the Undo button.
