Many users will have thousands of emails or several different email accounts. So, when the user launches Mailbird for the first time, it would take one or two days to completely sync all his/her emails on the desktop email client. If you do not want to wait patiently for all your emails to get synced, you can select the Download Messages on Demand option on Mailbird. The instructions to change the settings and choose this option are given here:

  • Step 1: Go to the upper-left corner of the main window of Mailbird. Click on Menu.
  • Step 2: Choose the Settings option.
  • Step 3: Now, you have to click the Advanced tab.
  • Step 4: Go to the Sync behavior section and then select the checkbox next to the Download Messages on Demand option.
  • Step 5: Keep in mind that by selecting this option, you may have to face a slight delay when you try to open a new email. It would take just a few more seconds because Mailbird will have to download that email first.
  • Step 6: Now, check if Mailbird is not syncing. It should be syncing now.
  • Step 7: The issue is now successfully resolved!
