How To Setup Optonline Email Settings?

Are you looking for the email settings for Optonline? The settings involve the POP3/IMAP protocol for incoming and the SMTP protocol for outgoing servers. Steps To Configure The Optonline Email Settings On Your Iphone:

  • Step 1 : On your iPhone, touch the Settings icon on the home screen.
  • Step 2 : In the Settings window, tap the Mail, Contacts, Calendars button.
  • Step 3 : Tap the Add Account button and choose the Other option from the list of email service providers.
  • Step 4 : Select Add Mail Account and input the following details.
  • Step 5 : Name: A name for your email account
  • Step 6 : Email: Your Optonline email address
  • Step 7 : Password: Your email account password
  • Step 8 : Tap Next and choose either IMAP or POP as your account type.
  • Step 9 : Under Incoming Mail Server, enter the incoming mail server name in the Host Name field.
  • Step 10 : The Email address and password need to be entered in the User Name and Password fields.
  • Step 11 : Under Outgoing Mail Server, enter the outgoing mail server name in the Host Name field.
  • Step 12 : Type your email address and password in the required fields.
  • Step 13 : Tap Save and return to the main page of the Settings window.
  • Step 14 : Tap the Mail, Contacts, Calendars button and then choose your Optonline email account to configure the settings further.
  • Step 15 : Enable SSL and configure the server port numbers for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
  • Step 16 : Authenticate your email account and complete the setup.

Steps To Configure The Optonline Email Settings In The Outlook 2016 App:

  • Step 1 : Launch the Outlook app on your computer.
  • Step 2 : Click the File tab at the top-left corner and select the Info option.
  • Step 3 : Click Add Account below Account Information.
  • Step 4 : On the Auto Account Setup screen, select the Manual setup or additional server types option and click Next.
  • Step 5 : Choose the POP or IMAP option and click Next.
  • Step 6 : Input your details in the User Information section.
  • Step 7 : Under Server Information, choose either POP or IMAP as your account type from the drop-down menu.
  • Step 8 : Enter the incoming and outgoing mail server names in the required fields.
  • Step 9 : Under Logon Information, enter your email address and password.
  • Step 10 : Click More Settings to open the Internet Email Settings window.
  • Step 11 : In the Outgoing Server tab, select the checkbox to enable authentication and enable the radio button to use the same settings as the incoming mail server.
  • Step 12 : In the Advanced tab, enter the server port numbers for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
  • Step 13 : Select your security type from the drop-down menus and click OK.
  • Step 14 : Click Test Account Settings to check the configured email settings for optonline.
  • Step 15 : Once the test is complete, click Next and select Finish.
