- Step 1:On your computer, launch the Outlook app.
- Step 2:In the Outlook window, open the Junk Email folder located at the left-side panel.
- Step 3:Next, select the email you wish to mark as Not Junk.
- Step 4:Click the Home tab and select the Junk drop-down menu.
- Step 5:Select the Not Junk option from the drop-down list.
- Step 6:Alternatively, you can select the email and give a right-click on it to open the Junk Email folder.
- Step 7:Once you have selected the email you wish to mark as Not Junk, select the Not Junk option from the Junk drop-down menu.
- Step 8:Now, a new pop-up window will appear on the screen.
- Step 9:In the Mark as Not Junk dialog box, select the Always trust email from the 'email address' checkbox and click the OK button.
- Step 10:Doing this will move the email to its original folder.
- Step 11:Now, you can send the scanned documents to the mailbox without any issue.
- Step 12:If you have been using the Outlook Web App (OWA) to send and receive emails, check if any pre-configured rules have caused the scan problem while resolving this scanned documents going to junk mail issue.
- Step 13:To do so, log in to the Outlook Web App first.
- Step 14:Click the Options button and select Mail.
- Step 15:Choose Automatic processing and click on Inbox and sweep rules or Exchange admin center.
- Step 16:Go to Mail Flow and select Rules.
- Step 17:To check for the blocklists in OWA, go to Options and select Mail followed by Accounts.
- Step 18:Click on Block or allow and select Protection.
- Step 19:Choose the Spam filter option and give a double-click on the Spam filter.
- Step 20:Select Blocklists and check if the sender's email address has been added to the blocklist.
- Step 21:Try sending the scanned document again and check if the scanned documents going to junk mail problem has been resolved.
