- Step 1: Click the Store icon.
- Step 2: Now, the Windows Store application will open.
- Step 3: Open the Charms Bar using the Windows Logo & C key combo.
- Step 4: In the search field, type Mail App.
- Step 5: Now, a list of suggestions will appear on the screen.
- Step 6: From the suggestion list, select the Mail Calendar, People, and Messaging option.
- Step 7: Click the Install button.
- Step 8: Wait for the installation process to get completed.
- Step 9: Once the reinstallation process is done, check if the Windows 8 mail app keeps crashing issue has been resolved.
- Step 10: If the issue persists, check if your Windows OS is up-to-date.
- Step 11: To check it, go to the Settings section of your Windows computer.
- Step 12: Select the Update & Security option followed by Windows Update.
- Step 13: Click the Check for Updates command line.
- Step 14: If an update is available, the Install Now button will appear on the screen.
- Step 15: Click the Install Now button.
- Step 16: Wait for the Windows OS update process to get completed.
